Barcelona Airport, El Prat, offers several transportation options to the city. The quickest way is by taxi, but it can be expensive. Aerobús buses are convenient and direct, departing every 5 to 10 minutes, costing around €5.90. The R2 Nord train also offers a trip to the city center, every 30 minutes, for around €2.20. The metro is an option, although less direct, with a ticket costing around €4.60.
The choice depends on personal preference, but for practicality with large suitcases, the bus or taxi may be more comfortable, while the train is economical.
